About this speaker
A native St. Louisan and multi- business owner, HR has become Leslie’s greatest passion, especially as it relates to work/life balance, DEI training and employee relations. After practicing law for more than 15 years, Leslie’s insight to human behavior is uncanny and proves to be an asset when advising HR partners.
Leslie’s firm belief a holistic approach to living life makes one become successful and independent.
Leslie obtained both her B.A. in English and Juris Doctorate degrees from University of Missouri-Columbia and currently the owner of The Phoenix Group STL, a HR consulting firm.
Other professional experience include a past seat as a Board member of Kids in the Middle, Inc., former Chair of St. Louis County Board of Equalization and former adjunct professor at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park.
In her spare time Leslie enjoys traveling and serving the community wherever needed. Leslie’s most recent travels including serving at the Love A Child orphanage in Haiti.
